The new Ray Winstone film, 44 Inch Chest had it’s World Premiere at the London Film Festival on the 17^th Oct and Peter Werth were lucky enough to be there.

From the writers of Sexy Beast, this is a fantastic follow up featuring some of the top British Actors, directed by Malcolm Venville - a masterful photographer who’s debut feature is a fantastic foray into movie-making. The script is second-to-none - violent, poetic, vulgar and emotional. It explores the male attitudes towards betrayal, shame and revenge.

The star of the film is undoubtedly Ray Winstone who gives one of the best male performances we’ve ever seen. A performance from the gut. The supporting cast are also superb - Ian McShane, Tom Wilkinson, and John Hurt really shines as Old Man Peanut. Both funny and sad, 44 Inch Chest is a must for fans of simple yet masterfully told stories.

The film is out on general release in January 2010 and Peter Werth in association with 44 Inch Chest will be running a competition, details to be announced soon !!
